stage), it was announced today by Michael Greene, President/CEO of the
Recording Academy. The telecast, set for Feb. 27 at Staples Center in Los
Angeles, will also feature The Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, Craig David,
Dave Koz, Elvis Costello, Jamie Foxx, Matthew McConaughey, Matthew
Perry, Natalie Cole and Sheryl Crow as presenters. (2/26a)


Does anyone know who Kirk Franklin is?

He's a contemporary Gospel singer. I believe Bono sang with him on a song a while back.

he's a gospel singer. bono appeared in a franklin song that wasn't all that bad actually a few years ago. if franklin is gonna be on with them they must be playing 'stuck' 'cause i don't really a space for him within 'walk on', unless they butcher it.

i think there's space for franklin at the end, with all the "hallelujahs"... we'll see, though! (atU2 is reporting that U2 will be doing Walk On w/ franklin, but stuck could work, too.)

yeah, i never thought of that. i wonder if it could be as good as the 9/11 tribute version though.
