Say you discovered the cure for AIDS or something like that, and the world is in the palm of your hand. In your honor, you can have the most kick-ass rocking party, with anyone you want (live or dead to make it
interesting). Like last night, it will be shown throughout the world. Who would be on the bill?

For me:

*The Who (with Moonie of course!--and he has to blow up his drums)
*Neil Young
*The Clash
*Talking Heads
*The Beatles
*Janis Joplin
*The Boss
*Marvin Gaye
*Le Tigre (feminist punk band--guaranteed to get your ass movin)
*Billie Holiday
*The Stones
*Clapton

And the evening will end with a 4 hour set by U2 (during which Larry does a naked drum solo--OK, semi-nude). Hehe--that would be an amzing show. And Charles Barkley would be the host!

Hey Se7en:

I think it is funny you chose Guster. I went to college with them (when they used to be called Gus.) They used to play in the dining room of my fraternity. We hated their music and we eventually voted to never have them play in our house again. Very interesting they are making aname for themselves now...

In order of when they would play:

Aerosmith
Guns N Roses
PJ Harvey
Garbage
Live
The Cure
Tori Amos
U2

ouizy,

Ummm, how could you put INXS with Bob Geldof replacing Michael Hutchence. That is probably one of the worst things I've ever seen. I hope it was a joke.

" The greatest lesson you'll ever learn - is to love, and be loved in return" - David Bowie

"Hey John Lennon ! We don't need your help." - Bono

It was kind of a joke, but I was trying to think of a replacement singer and I thought wouldn't it be nice if the band forgave Bob and Bob forgave the band et al.

Maybe you are right and he was a bad choice...

In this order:

R.E.M
Belly
Nirvana
Bjork
The Cranberries
Enya
U2
The Smashing Pumpkins
Beck
P.J. Harvey
Radiohead
