Who Owns the Albums?

Although U2 is a cohesive unit, there is usually one or two individuals that stand-out on each of their albums.

I've noticed that Larry's best drumming occurs in the first 3 albums. This is typical of young drummers. Young drummers have so much pent-up energy. It gets released and shines through in the first 3 albums. From there on, I think Jick will agree with me, Larry's drumming takes more of a supportive role, especially on hut dab. Maybe the producer/band influenced Larry to play more of a support role with the drums.

The Edge, on the other hand, is most potent in Achtung Baby.
Bono is clearly the dominating force on Unforgettable Fire & JT.

Adam: I see adam playing a huge role in hut dab. It's close between him and the Edge for this one.
Okay, Let's look at each album.

BOY: Larry
October: Larry
War: Larry
UF: Bono
JT: Bono
R&H: ???
AB: Edge
Zooropa: Clayton
Pop: Edge
Atty club: Bono
Hut dab: Clayton/Edge

So, what are your thoughts? Who do you think owns each of the U2 albums?

I wouldn't underrate Edge on Zooropa, it's not just guitar on that album

Boy, October: I don't think anyone stands out, to me they're all equal. Maybe Edge by a small margin.

War: Same as before, only this time Bono is starting to show his singing talent.

JT: A tie between Bono and Edge IMO

R&H: Larry, his drums really help make this album

AB: Edge

Zooropa: tough one. I don't think anyone is ahead in this one, maybe Adam?

Pop: See Zooropa.

ATYCLB: the beginning of the return of Bono's voice, so Bono slightly ahead

HTDAAB: Edge/Bono, a slight lead to Bono

ATYCLB = Bono as well because of the same reasons, his voice might not be the same as AB but his singing style has an impact
