OK. This is my breakdown.
AFC
Miami-Strong team. But they just don't have it all this year.
NY Jets-Vinnie and Curtis are great. The rest of the team is average.
New England-A team playing on heart.
Pittsburgh-I've been waiting for them to flop all year and it hasn't happened. They're this year's Ravens.
Baltimore-Should they have kept Dilfer?
Repeat looks doubtful.
Tennessee-What happened?
Oakland-Great team but no rush defense. Still a good bet to see in the Super Bowl.
Seattle-Alexander is a pleasant suprise, but that's about all they're living on.
Denver-Injuries have killed them this year.
NFC
Philidelphia-Haven't found their "A" game yet. If they do, watch out.
NY Giants-No guarantee by Fassel this year. No playoffs this year
Washington-Making this season respectable after a terrible start.
Arizona-Watch out. This team could sneak up on a lot of teams.
Chicago-If a couple of balls would have bounced differently, the Bears would be 6-5 at best. Living on confidence though.
Green Bay-If their receivers play like they did in the second half last week, this team will be in the Super Bowl.
Tampa Bay-If magazines don't pick them to go all the way next year, maybe they actually will.
Minnesota-I bet they wish Robert Smith was still on their team.
St. Loius-Big win last week could be the start of a title run. They can be beaten though.
San Francisco-Remaining schedule is tough. We'll see what they're really made of this week against the Rams.
New Orleans-Very inconsistant. Like the Eagles, if they find their "A" game, watch out.
