Since War is the worst U2 album, then I have to go with UF by default.

I just can't decide between two albums that are so unique in their own ways. They shouldn't be pitted against each other, but listened to together.

war is my fav album! I think while songs on UF are strong it is weak as an album. war on the other hand, As Larry would say: "it's a musical journy" thats what an album should be. UF as an album doesn't do it for me. I like the fist in the air, kick in the balls (took that from carson daly on the mtv music awards! lol) style of War.

had to be UF for me. As a complete album experience, it moves me much much more than War.

UF. It's more atmospheric and original than War--which I do like, too. It was really the first showcase of the band's versatility.

Would have voted earlier but have been on hols. UF is my fav U2 album, even though it may not be their best. I always marvel that they were so young when recording Bad - still their best song for mine, esp on WAIA - just seemless!!

I've never been a fan of War - in my opinion, it sounds too raw for my liking. I much prefer UF, although it's been one of the few albums (possibly the only one) that U2 have had difficulty playing live. I think that the UF is the album when the band really started to 'experiment' with different sounds - and look what followed!
