My idea??

Fast Cars - after Love and Peace or Else, before All Because of You. It is pretty heavy and experimental like LAPOL and continues a similar mood.

Mercy - after City of Blinding Lights, before A Man and a Woman. Similar mood to COBL (I suspect it may have even been a version or offshoot of COBL) and is downtempo enough to segue into AMAAW.

What do you think??

I originally thought Bono just lopped the 2 tracks off the bottom of the album, but I started thinking that Yahweh HAS to close the album, right??

LMK guys.

Fast Cars - after ABOY before AMAAW
Mercy - after Yahweh

I can't explain why, I have a tracklist like this and it just goes great when I'm playing it...

1. Vertigo
2. Miracle Drug
3. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
4. Love And Peace Or Else
5. City Of Blinding Lights
6. All Because Of You
7. Fast Cars
8. A Man And A Woman
9. Crumbs From Your Table
10. One Step Closer
11. Original Of The Species
12. Yahweh
13. Mercy

Personally I'd bin Yahweh and OOTS and replace them with Fast Cars and Mercy as I feel they're stronger songs and it means I have an album with no filler! Just 11 great songs and no need to hit the skip button!

(I love U2 albums that close on a slower note!)

Don't get me wrong, I love HTDAAB as it is, but this would be my dream playlist. I think I'll burn CD like this! I got it playing on my i-Tunes and it sounds pretty cool.
