Whilst there are so many outstanding Edge guitar solo's to choose from, do you have a favourite? I've just rediscovered my love for his masterpiece during 'All I want Is You' which I believe is up there with his best work. What's your favourite?

Has to be Bullet the Blue Sky!!

No question about it for me .. Silver and Gold. The studio version of the solo is great, but the live version on Rattle and Hum with the great intro by Bono after his diatribe on South Africa, well, you just can't beat that in my book. "Okay Edge, play the blues."

Hence my handle.

Well, technically, there's no guitar solo in Streets, but no biggy...

I would say either the solo in Please during PopMart or the one in Love Is Blindness on Zoo TV.

New Year's Day is my sentimental favourite. Also The Fly, AIWIY, WILATW. I don't really think of him as a man for solos, actually. The Fly probably is his best solo.

The live version of The Fly, with the extended solo. Great stuff.

Change is the only constant

I'll break down my favorites byt studio and live since they are kinda different.
Studio solos:
Mysterious Ways
Twilight
When I Look at the World
All I Want is You
Until the End of the World
Acrobat
Lady With the Spinning Head
Lady With the Spinning Head (EDM) (both have amazing but different solos)

Live solos:
The Fly
Bullet the Blue Sky
Please
With or Without You
Dirty Day
All Along the Watchtower (I know it's a cover but his solo is pretty cool and different)
Sunday Bloody Sunday
One Tree Hill

Not that it's technically a solo, but the beginning to "One". That or maybe his fabulous work in "Mysterious Ways." Either one is quite enjoyable.

The Fly, hands down best solo (though live Bullet from Sydney Zoo Tv show is pretty mind blowing).

Also i like New Year's Day, Twilight and Electric Co. (UABRS version).

Some neat solos:
If You Wear That Velvet Dress (very moody)

Some Days are Better Than Others (haven't heard that guitar sound from Edge that much...very unique for him...though i can't tell if that's a messed-up guitar or a weird synth doing the solo)
