(What was the connection?) When did the group 'Cheetah' tour with U2?

Ok, I was looking up the Cats Musical Programme and saw that Chrissie Hammond (founder of group Air Supply) is part of the currently-touring and in Belfast show......(fecking fantastic brilliant show might I add!!!!!!!!!! ..) and anyhow she used to be in a group called Cheetah that apparantly toured with U2.......Im thinkin, this MUST have been in the 80s....

In the late 70s, there was a group in Australia (where Air Supply are from), called "Cheetah". A little before my time, but I seem to recall two Skanks with more ass than class. That is to say, on Countdown, there was only ever these two whores dressed in those paint on outfits without any sign of a backing band.

Can't see how there's a U2 connection though... ???


Oh, and to the best of my knowledge, there were no women in Air Supply - at least no genetic women... (snickers), so I'm really confused.
