I've been intending to make a shirt with "We thought we had the answers, it was the questions we had wrong" written on it for quite a while.

Whenever I'm in need of U2 lyrics and everything seems to have escaped my mind, I just look up the lyrics on a site like U2Wanderer.org (yes, lyrics are back!) and start searching in albums I know to be lyrically brilliant until I find something I'm looking for.

Really, it depends what you want to say. Personally, I want to make some sort of political or insightful statement, hence why I purchased the 'All warfare is based on deception' shirt from U2.com a few days ago. But of course, not everyone wants shirts like those I want.

I was thinking of doing this. Here are some I was considering:

"Ba ba baa, ba ba ba ba ba (Miami!)"

"I had the universe decoded, then the atom split"

"Take this heart and make it break"

"Too much is not enough"

"POPTART"

don't piss in the drain
don't make a will

Does love light up your christmas tree?

What are we gonna do when it's all been said, no new ideas in the house and every book has been read?

Seriously, I'd choose anything from The Fly or one word: beLIEve

My idea: the words "IN THE HEART" below the HTDAAB target with the Clarendon font. Black or gray t-shirt...

Don't use lyrics, use these:
"Shirt"
"Poptart"
"Don't stare"

Walk On

It's a Beautiful Day (Don't let it get Away!)

Unos Dos Tres Catorce!

Just give me what I want, and no one gets hurt

Of Science and the Human Heart, there is no limit

The songs are in your eyes, I see them when you smile

Love and Peace or Else

Everywhere you go you shout it, you don't have to be shy about it

Even better than the real thing

If you want to kiss the sky better learn how to kneel

We're One, but we're not the same, we get to carry each other

Far Away, So Close

Lookin' for a sound that's gonna drown out the world

Desire

Midnight is where the day begins

Dream out loud

Don't cheat, compete

Don't miss the one beat

Too much is not enough

I've found what I'm looking for

I believe in Kingdom Come where all the colors bleed into One

Running to Stand Still

After the Flood all the colours came out

In the Name of Love

Up through a spiral staircase to a Higher Ground

This is not a rebel song...this is Sunday, Bloody Sunday!

(Another) Battle's just begun...theirs many lost, tell me who has won?

Out of Control

Two Hearts beat as One

How long to sing this song?

Gloria In Te Domine

If you walk away walk away, I will Follow

I'm out of Control

Will it be too late, you can't fight fate?

A day without me

Another time, Another place

Is that all?

I gotta go, I'm runnin' out of change...there's a lot of things if I could I'd rearrange

I had a silly little idea to take a shirt and soil it up pretty good (with blood, horse manure, etc.) and print 'Take this shirt and make it clean!' on the front.
