i agree with you there. i am now listening to the minneapolis elevation show and i really like the quality with this version , sound quality, band, and voice, it sounds great. i am having one heck of a time doing this project. i am making a 5 disc, or 4 dics, of live u2. i thought i had it done, burned it and want to re- do it.

anyone who would be kind and help me with ideas. please do.

Pittsburgh 2001 is pretty sweet

i havent heard the pittsburgh version. how is the sound quality and performance.

Yikes! not the Boston DVD version! It may sound ok on the DVD, but as I recall, the actual audience bootleg reveals quite a few mistakes during that song - Bono coming in at the wrong time and missing verses. Of course, the remastered version is just peachy and there's no indication of any mishaps besides Bono's smile and glances at the other band members. Oops.

Try the first ever performance of Kite from San Jose, April 20, 2001. It was special!! Bono sounded great and the band pulled it off without a hitch. There are many very good recordings of that song out there.

i do have several good versions but its hard to pick just one.

Sunday Bloody Sunday and Pride - I'd have to say the back to back versions from rattle & Hum are amazing and have never sounded better.

Ultraviolet and Stay from Dublin '93 at the RDF are pretty grand.

i love the rattle and hum version of sunday bloody sunday, that is a must. also, i am having a hard time determining between pride from rattle and hum or , dortmund from 84 , i dont know if you have heard that version but it is really good also.

I think you asked about 11 O'clock Tick Tock before, and the best version of that by far is the 5 June 1983 one that appears on the Under A Blood Red Sky EP. I have six versions of it on my computer, and that one is definitely the best. The 13 December 1981 Lido Beach NY performance is pretty good, too.

Bullet The Blue Sky has to be the version that appeared on Rattle And Hum. Exit from there is pretty good as well.

Must say I love Please from the Popmart Mexico video. I'll often watch that video just for Please.

And although you already have something for I Will Follow, I would just like to add that the 13 December 1981 I Will Follow is fantastic. It's my favourite live recording of the song.
