What is different about the album version of Vertigo?

I didn't download it as I already had the single version...so, are there any differences?
 
so after that this thread is pointless eh...........................
 
Yeah, about as pointless as labeling a song on a cd single as if it's somehow different sounding than it is on the album, when it's actually not.
 
pointless is as pointless does, pointlessness pointed out to the pointy pointer
 
The so called "difference" is in that the music video has all of the music suddenly stopping (refered to as "The Power Outage") right after Bono says "Just give me what I want...and no one gets hurt"....the rest is the same.

So, in the album version there is no "power outage"????! :(

On the iTunes website if you goto download the song, it says Vertigo (Single Version). Maybe the ''official'' album will have a different version??????
