I would have to say the tour, because i've only seen them live once. And I REALLY hope the tour will be general admission again.

The album will come first, they have to put it out before they can tour behind it. The tour is more exciting to me but the album is cheaper

I went to all 3 Lovetown shows. They did bring Popmart to the casino. What I meant was most bands leave off Perth and its gotten worse since the Entertainment Centre folded. Theres not really any indoor venues left - except for the casino, puke. Hadly any of the big shows come here, its too expensive to lug all their gear across the Nullabor. eg Robbie Williams/Duran Duran just played Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane. Thats pretty much the norm. You may not notice it as you live in Queensland and get most of the big tours.

I will be over the moon if U2 bring their next tour here! Fingers crossed.

Tour, definitely! I want to see them live! And it would be great to meet some of you people in the process.

Tour.

I had such a great time and met so many friends on the last one, so I'm looking forward to doing it all over again.

Oh that's right, I forgot the Entertainment Centre there had folded. Popmart was played at an INDOOR venue? Wow. I just did my checking, and to correct myself, U2 didn't play Perth on ZooTV (don't want anyone reading to get any false impressions). Why couldn't U2 play the WACA? I'm hoping they go to the 'Gabba (or Suncorp Stadium/Lang Park) here and I can see concerts at the MCG in Melbourne. Well, I hope you guys do get to see them.

Does anyone here know where the really big, stadium acts play in Brisbane now? U2 did ANZ Stadium for ZooTV and Popmart, but it's craptastic now and I don't think it's used for much beyond athletics any more, so I can't see them playing there. I'm totally out of the loop when it comes to who plays where in Brisbane.

I voted tour because even though a new U2 record is always cause for celebration, in the end I don't care whether or not I like the new record because I am still going to the show multiple times and loving it. I ALWAYS love the shows and the band even if I am lukewarm on the record.

I really hope to have luck again and go to a U2 concert for second time (I won the tickets in a radio station the first time, now I'm saving money to trip again)

Of course, there can't be a good tour without a new album, but I prefer the hype that's being built around the tour...

Can't it be both?

Tour, especially if I'll be there.

Ya think if we protested hard enough they'd come here anyway?

Oh, hello. Im not alone. Dunno if we protested, we could give it a try. Im in, if you are. I notice tickets for David Bowie went on sale today - $155 each, eek. Perhaps if Bowie can make it here, so can U2. (Thats my pipe dream and Im sticking to it )

PS Where are you? Im in the coastal north.

THE TOUR! A new album sounds great, but nothing could beat seeing them live again. I can't talk about it, I am getting too excited! When will I stop now, 6 shows? 10 shows? who knows. lol
