That last one was so loud I didn't hear the phone ring or my husband leave a message about coming home tomorrow. My ears still hurt. I've never had the stereo so loud before.
Background for those of you who still think I'm talking about HTDAAB: Last August a few of the crazier people here went on a U2 fast at my prodding. I found I wasn't hearing the songs anymore. So from the end of August till today, I haven't heard any U2 that I already owned.
Abstinence can be painful. Just ask my left ear.
