The three tracks that in a row make the stongest trio. Not, for example, 1), 5) and 9) but sequencially.

Mine are:
3) Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
4) Love and Peace or Else
5) City of Blinding Lights

Together they represent what U2 does best: uplifting ballad, slightly experimental and differing, and powerful energetic cityscape.

Your best 3-in-a-row songs?

I was wondering when this would come up...

not easy on this album which I think shows the strength of it..

This will change, as all 'favourite' selections do, but at the moment..

Last three.

Love And Peace Or Else
City Of Blinding Lights
All Because of You

or

All Because of You
A Man And A Woman
Crumbs From Your Table

I dunno.

Crumbs From Your Table
One Step Closer
Original Of The Species

It's perfect and I love it.

Definitely Crumbs From Your Table, One Step Closer, Original Of The Species.

It feels like a mini-journey within the larger journey of the album. OSC links the two other together so well. Even the first time I listened to the album, I felt like something began with Crumbs (like a theme), and then the way OOTS ends, it feels like an end to that same something. I think OOTS should close the shows on tour, much like Walk On...
