Australia, ATYCLB rises slightly from #38 to #36 in its 41st week on the charts. Here is its run so far (each line is 10 weeks):

The album is 4x Platinum (280,000 copies sold). The album has not dropped out of the Australian Top 40 since its debut.
R.E.M.'s album, "Reveal," spent 11 weeks on the Australian charts. It had the following chart performance: #6-8-11-5-8-10-15-18-26-37-38-out of Top 50. It is certified as Gold (35,000 copies sold). Radiohead?s "Amnesiac" drops out of the Top 50 (from #45) in its 9th week.
The "Tomb Raider" soundtrack has had the following run: #10-11-13-16-20-38-37-out of Top 50.
The "Bridget Jones' Diary" soundtrack is the #1 album in Australia.
"Elevation" has had the following chart run on the Australian singles chart: #6-22-24-33-36-45-out of Top 50.
As shown, "Elevation" debuted at #6 on the Australian charts. "Beautiful Day" debuted at #1 and "Stuck in a Moment..." debuted at #3, meaning this is the lowest any single from ATYCLB has debuted on the Australian charts. That said, it should be noted that U2 have now enjoyed three Top 10 hits in Australia from ATYCLB.
"Hanging by a Moment" by Lifehouse is the #1 song in Australia.
No other U2 or R.E.M. song or album appears on the Australian charts.
In
Ireland, the first report I read stated that ATYCLB jumped up from #10 to #3 in its 40th week. However, the chart I read says that it remained at #10 and dropped to #13 in Week 41. To be consistent, I will use that chart. Here is ATYCLB's run to date:

U2's ATYCLB has not dropped out of the Irish Top 25 since its debut and has spent 28 out of its 41 weeks in the Irish Top 10. I imagine that the Slane shows will return ATYCLB close to the top spot.
Radiohead's "Amnesiac" spent only four weeks in the Irish Top 30. Destiny's Child's "Survivor" is the #1 album in Ireland.
"Elevation" has the following run on the Irish singles chart: #1-7-12-18. "Hey Baby" by DJ Otzi is the #1 song in Ireland this week.
In the
U.K., ATYCLB rises from #23 to #22 in its 41st week. Here is its chart progress to date:

The album has been certified as Triple Platinum (900,000 copies sold) in the U.K. Expect the album to rise on the charts this week with U2 touring in England.
N'Sync may have enjoyed a #1 debut in the U.S. and Canada, but in the U.K., the album debuted at #12 (not even in the Top 10) and fell to #26 last week. This week, "Celebrity" charts at #43 - these are not exactly the type of numbers for the "
World's Biggest Band."
Radiohead's "Amnesiac" has had the following chart run in the U.K.: #1-7-14-28-37-39-52-58-58-54. Madonna?s "Music" is finally starting to fall as it drops from #55 to #63 in its 47th week on the U.K. charts. R.E.M.?s "Reveal" jumped up from #46 to #37 in its 12th week and fell back down to #46 in its 13th week (this week). "Right Now" by Atomic Kitten is the new #1 album in the U.K.
"Elevation" has the following run: #3-13-24-35. This gives U2 three Top 3 hits off of AYTCLB in the U.K., which is more successful than many of U2's albums, including "The Joshua Tree" and "POP."
Musique Vs U2's "New Years Dub" has had the following chart run: #15-37-55-74-out of the Top 100-78-75-88-93-96-out of the Top 100. R.E.M.'s "Imitation of Life" has the following chart performance on the U.K. singles chart: #6-15-24-36-45-64-66-73-73-98-98-94-98-out of the Top 100. So Solid Crew's "21 Seconds" is the #1 single in the U.K.
The success of "Elevation" helped U2?s "Best Of" sky-rocket back into the Top 50 in the U.K. three weeks ago as it jumped up to #50 from #104. Here is its run for the last few weeks: #104-50-68-73-79.
Anticipation for the tour has driven up video sales as well as album sales. The video for "Rattle & Hum" sky-rockets 171 places all the way to #1 this week!
In the
U.S., ATYCLB falls from the Top 100 in its 41st week. Typically, I would stop monitoring the charts at this time. However, with the new single and return of the tour, I believe that ATYCLB may return to the Top 100. Also, the success the album is having in Europe right now has kept up my interest. Of course, we will now have to rely on STING for updated chart information. Typically the sales below #100 do not fluctuate much, so once we know the chart position, we can estimate sales for that week based on past SoundScan reports.
UPDATE: STING provided the chart data for ATYCLB for Week 41 on August 20th. The album dropped from #99 to #105.

"POP" was out of the Top 100 after 19 weeks and "Zooropa" was out of the Top 100 after 31 weeks. ATYCLB fell out of the Top 100 after 40 weeks - and it may return.
I do not have the SoundScan numbers for this week, however, the #105 album at the end of July sold 14,126 copies. Therefore, I feel we can safely estimate 14,000 copies sold this week.

As I alluded to above, although ATYCLB fell out of the Top 100, there is still a chance it might rebound in the coming weeks. If "Stuck..." is receiving as much airplay in Top 40 as "hitsdailydouble.com" suggested (for two consecutive weeks), then the album will certainly be rejuvenated. There is a precedent for this event. Jennifer Lopez's album debuted at #1. After approximately 20 weeks, her album fell out of the Top 100. However, thanks to another hit song, her album has flown back up the charts back to #11 (this week). To fly from the depths of the charts all the way back to the Top 15 in a matter of weeks is incredible - and it stresses the power of a hit song. Therefore, if "Stuck..." gets some serious airplay, expect ATYCLB to bounce back.
The return of the tour most likely won't rejuvenate the album - it will just keep it going where it is, selling essentially 10-15,000 copies each week. Of course, those sales do add up - after 3 months, that's another 120-180,000 copies sold. If U2's album performs similarly, by its one year anniversary, we could see 3x Platinum certification.
The only other U2 news on the U.S. charts this week the suprising jump of "The Best Of" from #18 to #12 this week. This gives it sales of around 7-8,000 copies.
The #1 album on the U.S. charts this week is "Now That's What I Call Music: Volume 7." N Sync's "Celebrity" remains at #2 despite losing another 50% in sales (after dropping a mind-boggling 76% last week). That said, it should be noted that "Celebrity" still sold 2.55 million copies in just 3 weeks in the U.S. U2's ATYCLB has sold 2.76 million copies in the U.S. in 41 weeks. On the other hand, to "defend" U2, N'Sync's album did not debut well in most countries around the world (outside of the U.S. and Canada). Therefore, expect U2's ATYCLB to have stronger worldwide sales that N'Sync's "Celebrity."

ATYLCB is certified as 4x Platinum in Canada (400,000 copies sold). This is the lowest the album has been in Canada. However, if U2 return to Canada during the third leg, there should be a jump on the charts.
The "Tomb Raider" soundtrack has had the following run in Canada: #11-9-11-18-20-33-44-60-80-96. It sold approximately 7,500-6,500 copies for the first five weeks of its release.
R.E.M.'s "Reveal" spent 10 weeks in the Canadian Top 100, debuting at #4. Radiohead's "Amnesiac" debuted at #1 with over 48,000 copies sold. It has had the following chart run in Canada: #1-4-8-16-21-34-41-46-51-44. Usher's "8701" is the new #1 album in Canada, booting N'Sync from the top.
"Elevation" remains the #1 song on Canada's CD singles sales chart this week - for the fifth consecutive week. Although I was told that Canada is now combining the sales of both versions of a CD single into one, it appears that Canada is once again charting different versions of a CD single separately. "Elevation-Part 2" is #1 while "Elevation-Part 1" is #2 for the fourth consecutive week. "Elevation-Part 1" was #1 four weeks ago.
"Elevation" is the third #1 single U2 has had on this chart from ATYCLB. "Walk On" and "Beautiful Day" also reached #1 on Canada's CD singles sales chart. Three #1 singles from ATYCLB surpasses the success U2 had with "POP" in Canada. The combined sales from both CD singles allowed "Walk On" to spend 6 weeks at #1. Musique Vs U2's "New Years Dub" peaked at #10.
R.E.M.'s "Imitation of Life" peaked at #5 and Radiohead's "Pyramid Song" peaked at #2 on Canada's CD singles sales chart.
The CD singles market in Canada is weak though and more emphasis should be placed on the airplay charts. "Elevation" peaked on Canada's "The Hits" chart at #15. This week it plunges down from #54 to #83. R.E.M.'s "Imitation of Life" peaked at #24 Canada's "The Hits" chart. It fell out of the Top 100 airplay chart last week.
