So I was just on Amazon.com and there's a U2 book advertised there "Walk On: The Spiritual Journey of U2". Anyone have any info on this one? Apparently is just came out this past November. Any reviews? Good? Bad? Ugly?

I ordered it a couple days ago. I've read some of the author's articles on U2 and I really enjoyed them. He interprets the music and live shows from a Christian perspective. The book is to examine U2 and how they have applied their Christian faith to their work throughout their career. It'll likely be a good, quick read.

Just got the book from amazon and started to read the first chapter. It is written by a Irish Presbterian minister. It explores the questions & controversy surrounding the deep-rooted religious themes of U2's music. It exposes the real meaning behind many of their songs & performances. He uses a lot of their material of their music in his sermons.

Arg, I have it on order and its taking forever to come in! Should be a good read!

The author D? Stockman has a website at stocki.net, BTW.
