Just came across this article in Dotmusic.... and the article refers to the finalists chosen by the fans on VH1.com. So it looks like we will have to make the most of the voting NOW..... so get voting!

Finalists for this year's 'My VH1 Awards' have now been selected, with U2 and the Dave Matthews Band collecting an impressive six nominations each.

Both the categories and the finalists were chosen by fans on VH1.com, who now have a chance to vote for the winners.

No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani has been nominated for five awards whilst newcomer Alicia Keys is listed in five categories.

The show, which will take place in Los Angeles on December 2, is set to see performances from Mick Jagger, Nelly Furtado, Destiny's Child, Sting, Lenny Kravtitz, No Doubt and Staind.

Online voting will run from now until the day of the ceremony.

Yes, whatever you do please make sure you venture on over to vh1.com and cast your vote for U2! I just did my small part to help but the Dave Matthews and Bon Jovi fans are apparently a)more motivated or b)more numerous than us U2 fans because those two bands are kicking U2's ass in EVERY category they are up for!!! This is ridiculous!!!

So, I hereby call ALL U2 fans to take up arms and defeat the enemy!!! VOTE FOR U2 NOW and let's right this wrong!!! I mean, how can we let Bon Jovi or DMB win ANY award, most of all HOTTEST LIVE SHOW? Makes me want to vomit....oops, I just did thinking about it!!! Anyways, PLEASE CAST YOUR VOTES...IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES!!!
