Vertigo and Sirens?

Listen to the beginning of vertigo on yer headphones. Does anyone hear sirens in the background and also a little later in the song? It sounds like their back there.

Yes I hear them too. I definitely feel it is a warning / bomb / terror siren. Fits the whole concept of the song

There are several parts of Vertigo that are a throwback to an earlier era or sound, and the siren is definitely one of them!
