U2's Greatest Rock weekend.

This is fantastic. For those of you who hate the radio it ain't all bad this weekend. Well that is if you're a U2 fan and live in Central Alberta, Canada. Every week the rock station Z99(98.9 FM) here in Red Deer, Alberta devotes an entire weekend to a certain band. This weekend it's U2's turn. It started at 3:00pm and runs untill late Sunday night. Here's what I've heard since 3:00pm(now 7:15pm my time). Keep in mind this is only what I've heard and not everything they've played.

I know for a fact that I missed somthing between Angel and Beautiful Day. I was working and away from a radio for about 45 minutes. Anyways if you're in the area and have no choice but to listen to the radio, this is the weekend to do it. Like I said Z99(98.9 FM) is out of Red Deer, Alberta.

We can now add Discotheque to the list. This is so cool. If radio were like this all the time I'd love it. A U2 song every 4th song or so and ya never know which one you're gonna get.

We got a radio station over here that for every 10 songs played by other bands, they play a U2 tune.
Now this is what I call "top 40 radio hits"!!

Right Now they are finishing playing, Jesse McCartney "your beautiful"...mixing into.... U2 "Sweetest thing" ...good mix too!
