Instead of the DREADFUL Rogers Centre in Toronto, how about the brand-spankin new BMO field. It was just finished for the new Toronto FC (football club) and it looks pretty sweet. And the sound HAS to be better than the Rogers Centre.

23 Estadio da Luz, Lisboa, Portugal

Oh Nooooo!!!
Estadio da Luz is ugly, it looks like a pile of concrete with some red iron alloys incrustrated...
Estadio Jose de Alvalade XXI (where all the U2 shows - except the 1982 festival - were made) is much better and it was conceived to receive stadium concerts.
Same for Estadio das Antas (Porto) and Estadio Municipal de Coimbra (Coimbra).

I've been hoping for a U2 show somewhere in the U.S. on my 30th birthday (March 13, 2009). If there is, I know how I'll be spending my day.

frell you bitches. u2 is only going to be in my back'ard and i will be charging you an arm and a leg plus your first born to get in. and don't try that fly over the house with a helicopter thing, because all aircrafts' will be prompty disposed off.

How many first borns do you think you need? You better be charging lots to feed all those little mouths.

That would be hot, I might actually be able to get tickets without having to utter death threats to Ticket Master Employees

(stupid 5 months community service  )

I like how you included the total attendance and sales figures as well to keep the POTDB nerds happy...

Couple of reminder for your imagination..

1)Boston stadium shows will be heald at Fenway Parc, for sure
.
2)There's no chance in hell they'll do a outdoor show in Denver in the middle of April...just remember popmart tour

3)Montreal show would be at Parc Jean-Drapeau:.....drool:

4)Most likely, they'll have both, stadium and arena productions for North America, cause i don't think the Band is sexy enough in some market to fill a stadium.

Lower the ticket prices and make those shows for the hardcore fans who don't want to pay overs all the time

january too hot for australia !!!!!!

i knew they wouldn't be here till 2010... bagh!!!!!!!!
damm right we deserve more dates than uk, we never bloody see them so when they are here we want to see them ALOT .

New Yankee Stadium? Possibly. But I would prefer seeing them at Citi Field, Queens. If it's up by then. Cool, intimite and brand new. Capacity 45 000 (baseball), so how about... 8 shows?
