For those who are interested...

You can purchase U2's Super Bowl performance on DVD! Of course, it comes with the actual Super Bowl game too. And since the Pats won - that's a GOOD thing.

Amazon.com is selling this DVD here. The price with shipping is under $18 (U.S. dollars).

I know tons of people that are going to love this!

What state are you living in these days doctorwho?

Of course, I taped the Super Bowl - with U2's performance. So I already have a copy of the entire deal. But a DVD version is so much better.

I accepted the position in New Haven, CT. I now reside there. I just finished working my first week at my new job. While the area is nice, I do miss my old home (even though it was too small - I really grew to like it and my landlords) and even my old job. However, I know over time I will get used to my new job (and fellow employees). And my new home is much better - something I know I will enjoy once I'm done unpacking. Plus, I just got a spiffy new computer - so that's always fun.

Despite the move and my desire to actually leave the general Boston area (doing a daily 70 mile drive - WITH traffic - down Rte. 128 for almost 2 years is not something I will miss), I will still cheer for the Red Sox and Patriots.

Thanks for asking BostonAnne.

Congrats Doctorwho!

Hey-in my dream last night, Drew Bledsomuch and Bradybunch
wink.gif
both left the Patriots! And their coach, came after me and aquired me to be their new star QB. It was awesome

I was a really good QB and was kicking ass for them, and even got to be in the VIP area of the heart at U2's next round of 'elevation', during which I had to rescue Bono during the encore because some nutcase went crazy and the entire concert was evacuated.

At this point, I went to some local pub with Bono for drinks and we hung out and signed autographs together while girls swooned over our sunglasses and mesh shirts.

And I even got to meet you Doctorwho, it was cool. You were wearing a replica of my Patriots jersey with my number on the back and had been cheering me on all season!

Also in the dream, PoPangel was my pet, a big white fluffy and friendly polar bear. And I think Elvis was my agent, Sicy was his secretary. When he got mad at her he made her wash my car(s).

I'm not kiddin folks, this was really my dream last night.

Tom Brady left the Pats? I don't like your dream!

Ok-I guess I could handle you as the new QB-esp. in a mesh shirt.
biggrin.gif

But I wasn't in the dream?

And I will DEFINITELY be getting the SuperBowl DVD-all those Tom Brady closeups and behind-the-scenes

LOL Doctorwho, in my dreams.

It was a great dream though, you can cheer if you like

I like to play with my friends sometimes, but I usually get my arse kicked and have to limp home!

Thanks for asking BostonAnne.

I'm glad to finally hear what you decided. I wouldn't miss a 70 mile drive on Rte 128 either! I grew up near the 128 belt, but I now live near the 495 belt.

Congratulations and I wish you much success at your new job!

Hope all goes well in CT doc, just got back from a couple of days in your new state...made a donation to the Mashantucket Pequot tribe in Ledyard.

Actually it was funny , the casino PA actuallly played "The Sweetest Thing" and as Bono sang "I'm losing you...", my thought was I should be singing it to my money.

I'll keep 128 warm for you if you ever decide to return (actually I only drive it from Gloucester to Rt 1, so I miss the teeth of the traffic).
Hope the new job goes well.
