I always prefer the original for all songs except for Gone, I like the remix of Gone. I don't think Holy Joe has an original mix, so I prefer the more industrial guilty mix.

The remix version of Staring at the Sun is particularly atrocious.

Where can one find Last Night on Earth single mix? I have tried to find it everywhere. I like the song itself, but on the single mix Bono sings so much more clearly, it's a lot more pleasant to listen to. It makes me wonder how often on Pop (and ATYCLB, for that matter) he intentionally made his voice sound like shite. why was the last line of the second verse in mysterious Ways changed for the Best Of? what exactly is the new line? i can't quite make it all out. Do you think that line was recorded new (like the other new mixes), or what it a version U2 had done back in the day that they were considering, but didn't make ABaby?
