For my Faith and Critical Reason class, I wrote about the story of Jesus washing his diciples' feet and said that the message of the story was that you should help others even if the task is humiliating. Now we have to find song lyrics that go with the interpretation. Does anyone have any ideas of a U2 song that could fit this?

How about Larry's involvement in the 'Discotheque' video?

I think I might have something for you, Joey788. It isn't an official song but the 3:11 take of So Cruel from the Salome Bootleg should work. The song is about two people humiliating each other because they can't communicate how they feel. Jesus has the same problem in the story. He must humiliate himself out of love and the failure to communicate.
