this has probably been posted somewhere before, but i found this database that lists references to U2 in pop culture, including movies, TV shows, books, etc.

i found it because my friend is reading the book "american psycho" and she said there was a part about the characters at a U2 concert (joshua tree era) in there. they have the excerpt from the book posted on the site...i was interested in what other people thought about it.

Whew! I've always suspected American Psycho was a piece of shit; this excerpt confirms it. It's barely readable. I don't know how anyone could read the whole book and not come away feeling dirty and stained by it.
