When will Nevermind stop ranking so ridiculously high on these things?

Stone Roses #1? Come on. It's pretty good, but they really werent anything THAT SPECIAL! No one in America even knows who the crap they are. I bought this album because I'd read so much about it and I was TERRIBLY dissappointed. Dont get me wrong, I like it, I like the Stone Roses, but they shouldnt even be on a top 50 albums of all time list. Just my opinion. Like I said, I do like the Stone Roses and that album, but not as much as BBC i guess.

got to love the british
actually any non-british release that makes a top 20 best of list surprises me more than seeing the Stone Roses at #1
