u2 has kept us busy.

i was in fourth grade when pop came out . then 3 years later when i was in 8th grade (NO I DID NOT ADD WRONG), ATYCLB was out. it seemed like such a long distance between the two albums that we heard from them (well, the first 'best of' kept us busy) and it was almost like i forgot about them till the 2000 release. now as a senior in high school, it seems like i didnt have to wait SOOO long to hear from the band. fours years is an acceptually long time. was it the [elevation] tour? the grammies? bono as political viewer? the 2002 best of cd? the demand for another cd from 02-03? damn the time sure does go fast!! what kept us occupied as u2 fans?! it must have been the dvds right?
