Miracle Drug-Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own-Love and Peace or Else-City of Blinding Lights

Best 4 songs in a row ever! It's better than on any other U2 album.

Listening to it right now, it's def up there, but I'd take EBTTRT-One-UTEOTW-WGWYRH over it

Makes more sense to me to compare it to the best 4 consecutive songs on ATYCLB.

Which I suppose, either way, you'd have to leave out BD or Kite.
BD-Stuck-Elev-Walkon or Stuck-Elev-Walkon-Kite

Either way I'd say HTDAAB hands down, in this match-up.

For me, the strongest set of songs was always the first 5 songs on TJT. I know it's five songs, not 4, but still. The rest of the Joshua Tree is good, but not really great (in my opinion), but Streets through Running to Stand Still is just

Any combination involving COBL is going to be pretty damn good.

An Cat Dubh-Into The Heart-Out Of Control-Stories For Boys
A Sort Of Homecoming-Pride-Wire-Unforgettable Fire
Streets-Still Haven't-WOWY-Bullet
EBTTRT-One-UTEOTW-WGRYWH
Babyface-Numb-Lemon-Stay
DYFL-Mofo-IGWSHA-SATS
Stuck-Elevation-Walk On-Kite
Miracle Drug-Sometimes-LAPOE-COBL

I think the first 6-song run-through of HTDAAB is just fabulous...even COBL has finally taken shape for me and got me hooked..ABOY has gotten even more impressive too.

This album is better than Joshua Tree.

I agree with jack,
Bomb is much better than JT.
It's just that JT has got the name of u2's masterpiece and golden age. but I think u2 best years were from 1991-1995(hmtmkmkm).
And from now on...

Although this is so hard to call by looking at this list (which is a good one) I'd have to say ASOH, Pride, Wire, UF. Too bad the B side to this record wasn't stronger.

I'm amazed Three Sunrises wasn't on UF, its better than any of the 3 weaker tunes, and some of the better ones!

What were all the UF b-sides by the way? I don't think I have them all...

(Love Comes Tumbling is great, but I dunno if it would fit UF)

Maybe so but I'd prefer that over 4th of July, Indian Summer Sky, Elvis Presley and America, and MLK.
Other UF b-sides: Boomerang, Boomerang II, Sixty Seconds in Kingdom Come. As you can see there really wasn't much else to chose from.
