Today is day of memorial in Europe

I just wanted to let you all know that today the EU declared as day of memorial for all the people in USA and others involved.

At 12.00 there has been a 3 minutes silence. And in the Netherlands people have hung out their flags halfmast.

Ireland is completely closed all day - national day of mourning. Here in Dublin nothing is opening, not even cafes, pubs, corner stores, petrol stations or even mcdonalds. The place is really quiet. Church and remembrance services were well attended (i went this morning). Just wish I bought some food yesterday, damn it.
