Bono voice is obviously affected by his emotional state.

He needs delicate emotions to hit those parts...If he is having a bad year it will reflect in the music....

Yes, I believe that, too. His voice problems during Elevation were certainly, at least at part, due to the emotional toll his father's illness took on him. After all, singing IS about emotion - at least it should be.

all I know is that I enjoy each & every tour they have done and I've been to (so since Zooropa 1993) more than the 1 before


so I don't think the band is planning retirement just yet
