JUST FLIPPING THROUGH THE STATIONS HERE IN NY AND TO MY SURPRISE I HEAR "PEACE ON EARTH." AS IF THAT ISN'T ODD ENOUGH, THE STATION THAT IS PLAYING IT IS Z-100 (100.3).

FOR THOSE OF YOU IN NY, YOU KNOW THAT U2 IS RARELY PLAYED ON Z-100 (JT WAS PLAYED ON IT AS WAS A FEW SONGS FROM ATYCLB). IT IS A POP STATION FOR TEENIE-BOPPERS.

OBVIOUSLY, "POE" IS CONSISTENT WITH THE CHRISTMAS-THEME OF THE DAY, BUT THIS CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD NONETHELESS AND JUST WANTED TO SHARE THIS W/EVERYONE.......

yeah it is odd that Z100 would play that since it only plays top 40 and wouldn't bother with U2 unless their songs are big hits. But PLJ (95.5) played that after 9/11. I wonder why Z100 would play it now.
