Alright folks... I want you to pick 3 U2 songs (no covers or remixes) that all sound as different from one another as you can possibly think of.. just to demonstrate how divergent U2's style really is from themselves.

How about Tomorrow, Numb and In A Little While. Those all sound pretty different to me.

11 0'Clock Tick Tock

This is harder than you would think because with all the different eras of U2, and then the Zooropa/Pop stage and then ATYCLB, you have way too many choices for three songs that sound the most different.

Cool topic though!!

at my madonna forum, someone was bitching that all U2 music sounded the same. (!) so, i told them before they could have that opinion they had to download mp3s of these songs...

sunday bloody sunday

Wow...this is too hard, especially after reading everybody else's choices...I can't decide!

------------------
"Hallelujah, Heaven's white rose,
The doors you open...I just can't close..."

i've been thinking about this question for so long! I think I might have finally come up with something:

The Unforgettable Fire
Do You Feel Loved
ISHFWILF

(really ISHFWILF here could be exchanged with anything -like Walk On, etc- , I think TUF and DYFL really represent the two extremes in their music, anything else falling in between the two.)

I need something strong to distract my mind
I'm gonna look at you 'til my eyes go blind
