FACT ATTACK:

The Three Best Songs on HTDAAB Are:

CFYT, COBL, AMAAW.

Anyone who disagrees gets their wig peeled back.

If you are in disagreement then you may need to reevaluate your musical taste, ability, and your entire reason behind calling yourself a U2 fan to begin with.

Well, you're 2/3rds right. If you'd said OSC rather than AMAAW, you'd be a winner.

1) Fast Cars
2) Crumbs

3) OOTS- still amazingly flawed, and borderlining horrible, but decent in comparison to the rest of BOMB

I didn't include Fast Cars cos it's not on the US release. If we're including it, I'm definitely putting it at #1, even above COBL.

Are you a transvestite?

My 3 overall favorite picks from the Bomb recording sessions would be:

1. Native Son
2. Mercy
3. Smile (the hoo hoo's are f'ing brilliant)

The fact that these arent on the released cd makes me cry, and wonder wtf is going on in u2 land.

As far as the actual released HTDAAB cd, my top 3 picks would be (in order):

1. Crumbs
3. Original of the species
4. Vertigo / COBL tied

The 3 BEST songs:

1. City of Blinding Lights: Great melody, hook, and driving beat.

2. Original of the Species: Unusual chord changes take it to the next level.

3. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own: Great guitar work -- strikes the emotive chords -- and fabulous vocals toward the end.

My FAVOURITE song:

Crumbs From Your Table: I love the atmosphere and guitar work. There is a simple, yet great drive to this song.

Original Of The Species: Great complex melody

Crumbs From Your Table: They need to get drunk more often during recording session. The Edge being one man orchestra

Vertigo: Punk Rock U2 Edition

Will you come over or where should I come to get the head shaved?

1. City of Blinding Lights
2. Love and Peace or else (Should have been a single!)
3. Crumbs from your table OR a man and a woman
