Dropped Playboy Mansion and added HMTMKMKM and Holy Joe. Dropped PB because I think 14 tracks would be a bit too long.

1.Mofo
2.Last Night On Earth(Single)
3.If God Will Send His Angels(Single)
4.Discotheque(Original Pop Version)
5.Staring At The Sun(Original Pop Version)
6.Holy Joe(Garage Mix)
7.Do You Feel Loved
8.Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
9.Gone(Original Pop Version)
10.Miami
11.If You Wear That Velvet Dress
12.Please(Single)
13.Wake Up Dead Man

Good shit.

That's my favorite right there! But I  Playboy Mansion. And MOFO is a pretty kick ass opener.

I'd say switch Miami and Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me. The symphonic end to the latter would flower better into If You Wear That Velvet Dress.

Ask Zootl why you can't disrupt the Gone->Miami flow

Holy Joe's a great track but wouldn't fit on the album, its a great b-side though. Last Night On Earth, the album version is better cos its longer and it has the raw and rough intro that makes the music more exciting. If god will send his angels, the single version was better I would agree. Please, the album version is better as it is more rough around the edges, has that little bit extra, the single version has too many synths and sounds over produced to me. So the perfect Pop lineup would have to be Pop as it is with If God will send his angles single version replacing the album version.

By the way speaking of Holy Joe, anyone got the lyrics for that song?

I... I'm a humble guy
no really I try
you know it's hard sometimes

true... and hard working too
working... to get to see you

come on come on come on come on... be good to me
come on come on come on come on... be good to me

here it comes here it comes holy joe

please... don't make me say please
to champagne and ice-cream
it's not what I want, it's what I need

precocious... just a little precocious
expialidocious... yeah yeah yeah

devotion... and some appreciation
a little heavy rotation
looks good on me

you know it's not hard, I can think of a lot harder... oh yeah
just wanted our moment to last a little longer... yeah

come on come on come on come on... be good to me
come on come on come on come on... be good to me

here it comes here it comes holy joe

having the best time of anybody's life
closer than ever to everybody's wife... oh yeah

come on come on come on come on... be good to me
come on come on come on come on... be good to me
come on come on come on come on... be good to me
come on come on come on come on come on come on

here it comes here it comes holy joe

Holy Joe fits where I put it...trust me.

And the Please album version builds up to something that isn't there....the reward for the buildup is better in the Single version.

Did you have to quote the whole post again?

There are several sites with U2 lyrics... u2wanderer.org, interference lyrics, u2.com etc.

Those lyrics are wrong...here are the correct lyrics from u2.com...

I
I am a humble guy
No really i try
You know it's hard sometimes

You
Yeah you're messed up too
Both of us gonna get through
Working my way to get to you

Come on, come on
Come on, come on, be good to me
Come on, come on
Come on, come on, be good to me
Here it comes
Here it comes

With champagne and ice cream
It's not what I want it's what I need

Devotion
Little appreciation
Little heavy rotation
Looks good on me

Closer than ever to everybody's wife

Come on come on
Come on come on, be good to me
Come on come on
Come on come on, be good to me
Here it comes
Here it comes
Holy Joe

Totally mixed up in everybody's life
Closer than ever to everybody's wife
Yeah...

Come on come on
Come on come on, be good to me
Here it comes
Here it comes
Holy Joe

Here it comes
Here it comes
Holy Joe

Here it comes
Here it comes
Holy Joe

I have bolded two bridges in order to make the point that I absolutely LOVE those lyrics AND the way Bono sings them. The way he sings the bolded lyrics might just be the free-est, wildest, least-constrained, most badass I've ever heard him. Listen to it.

I'd really like to hear the garage mix...never heard it all despite a number of requests..can anyone help? oh and my curiosity was increased when I read an article describing a work-in-progress of the song as "street-fighing man-esque".. really raw.

I wouldn't quote U2.com for the life of me

I agree with all bits apart from your bold bits..
I would say it says

I'm having the best time of everybody's life, Closer than ever to everybody's wife... Yeah

It would've been sweet if they had a karaoke cd or a song with Edge singing

like Suspicious Minds, Daydream Believer, or Dancing Queen

Do You Feel Loved
Mofo
If God Will Send His Angels

I'd put Holy Joe after Discotheque, personally.... as for many of us, I see that a lot of us still think Pop is good as it is already, haha.

I would like to revise my original tracklist....I've re-located LNOE(it didn't work between Mofo and IGWSHA) and inserted Playboy Mansion in the right place....

1.Mofo
2.If God Will Send His Angels(Single)
3.Discotheque(POP Version)
4.Staring At The Sun(POP Version)
5.Holy Joe(Garage Mix)
6.Last Night On Earth
7.Do You Feel Loved
8.Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
9.Gone(POP Version)
10.Miami
11.The Playboy Mansion
12.If You Wear That Velvet Dress
