The new sound in HTDAAB

Anyone else hear the reoccuring chime sound in the songs. Its a combo of guitar, piano, and bells it seems. its in at least half the songs.

Yeah, I've been hearing it too. Especially on OOTS, which I dearly love, already...

I've noticed that too. Songs like Miracle Drug, Yaweh and OOTS are pretty obvious!!

I'm not saying it's bad or anything, but it sounds just a little generic sometimes.

I believe it's a glockenspiel, similar to what they used on I Will Follow. It may be Lilywhite's doing.

Yeah, that's nothing new that's on a lot of the early albums, and yes it is definitely a Lillywhite sound. I notice too a lot of group background whoops and vocals. Also very 'old school'.

That would explain why MD, OOTS, and Yahweh are tops in my book.

Im not saying anything bad either. Just heard it several times. Sounds good, it adds to the Edge's sound.
