Right since we are now aware that the DVD is heavily edited and is a mixture of 2 different Boston nights i have a question.
Why would they want to show Edge getting angry at the end of Gone when it was clear that they nailed the song on that performance?
This paints a totally false picture of the Edge as he never shows this sort of emotion on stage unless something goes drastically wrong.

it's an evil ploy to get Edge to leave the band and have him replaced by Slash

Because it's fun for the fans/viewers to see Edge a bit edgy (yes, pun intended although it ain't a funny one). Just like they showed the girl jumping on Bono on UABRS.
 
Salome, I heard that BB King had the replacement job since he had played with them before and had done so well. But I am sure your sources are better than mine so maybe you are correct. Who knows, I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what happens.
