Sounds nothing like North and South of the river IMO.....although its claimed its a very early version of the song.

Thing is, for me, its heaps better......!

Off the AB outtakes, I heard it and immediately liked it.....love to see it come out in some way or shape on the next album

Sounds nothing like North and South of the river IMO.....although its claimed its a very early version of the song.

You can hear it in the live version of North And South Of The River (which U2 performed only once on the TV tribute to the victims of the Omagh bombing). At the end of that performance, some horns kick in, with the same melody as the ones on the Take Today demo.
