I don't consider the live version part of the single (it's only released on the DVD, not the audio single). Ava Maria is horrible IMO. I agree with you on the Fast Cars remix. The Vertigo remixes are less than stellar though... Pretty strange though, considering the Vertigo original.

Yeah, I think every remix of Vertigo has been bad ... in fact, I think most remixes are bad, which is why I'm rather surprised I'll listen to the Fast Cars remix. And I'm with beli on Ave Maria.

Though if SYCMIOYO does go, I won't be upset. Get it out of here. Or any of the other three most recent singles that remain.

Also, to return to the top five discussion earlier, I have this suspicion Stay may sneak in. I think out of all singles in the competition, it has received the fewest votes. For a long time, it was the only one to not receive any votes, even though the big three from JT had!

The Unforgettable Fire(Love Comes Tumbling, enough said)
Even Better Than The Real Thing(Lady With The Spinning Head Extended Mix is incredible, Salome and Where Did are both great b-sides, the remixes are great too)
With Or Without You/All I Want Is You(tie)(WOWY has Hold On To Love and Walk To The Water but AIWIY has two versions of AIWY and masterful covers of Everlasting Love and Unchained Melody...unquestionably the most romantic single U2 ever released)
One(One, enough said. Night And Day gives me chills. Satellite Of Love is good good good, Lady is good but the extended version is better)
