Summer Rain

Just as Edge said, "I love that tune......Sometimes, giving a song like that away as a B-side hurts, becauase you know it's got something."

It's an OK song. I has a very un-U2-y light, summery, sound. It wouldn't have fit on an album though.

Agreed. I probably wouldn't be a fan of a whole album that sounded like it, too. Still, I'm a fan.

Note to Edge: We LIKE B-sides that aren't remixes, ya lughead!

Agreed it needs something strong with it like the ones you mentioned. You are a very wise fan.

Great song. Has the strongest lyrics from any of the material that came from that recording session, imho. Shame it had to be a b-side.

WORD to that. My copy of ATYCLB came with Summer Rain as a bonus track. My disappointment with the album itself was so great that for a little while Summer Rain was the only song I listened to.

I went thru a period when I listened to Summer Rain a lot. It's a cool song but I like a lot of others better. I think it's def. a b-side. But word to Edge that we DO like b-sides as well as the hits!
