I'm not afraid of anything in this world
There's nothing you can throw at me that I haven't already heard
I'm just trying to find a decent melody
A song that I can sing in my own company

I never thought you were a fool
But darling look at you
You gotta stand up straight, carry your own weight
These tears are going nowhere, baby

You've got to get yourself together
You've got stuck in a moment and now you can't get out of it
Don't say that later will be better now you're stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it

I will not forsake, the colors that you bring
The nights you filled with fireworks
They left you with nothing
I am still enchanted by the light you brought to me
I listen through your ears, and through your eyes I can see

And you are such a fool
To worry like you do
I know it's tough, and you can never get enough
Of what you don't really need now...my oh my

You've got to get yourself together
You've got stuck in a moment and you can't get out of it
Oh love, look at you now
You've got yourself stuck in a moment and you can't get out of it

I was unconscious, half asleep
The water is warm 'til you discover how deep...
I wasn't jumping...for me it was a fall
It's a long way down to nothing at all

You've got to get yourself together
You've got stuck in a moment and you can't get out of it
Don't say that later will be better
Now you're stuck in a moment and you can't get out of it

And if the night runs over
And if the day won't last
And if our way should falter
Along the stony pass

And if the night runs over
And if the day won't last
And if your way should falter
Along this stony pass
It's just a moment
This time will pass

I don't care what anyone says. This is one of my favourite songs. Absolutely gorgeous melody. A great example of a song where no one stands out, but when they all come together, it's amazing. The outro is beautiful. Beautiful guitar, synth, vocals, that falsetto  The song is so uplifting. Helps me every time. Never used to be a big fan, but now I adore it.

"Helps me every time"

Totally agree with you there. Beautiful song, and the lyric really hits home hard. I used to listen to it all the time.

I loved it live last year as well, though I could barely hear Edge's falsetto over the GA crowd! (Had no trouble hearing Bono though, lol)!

SIAMYCGOO is a grower, took me about 4 years to appreciate the magic.

Wayne Travis' avatars rule.

brilliant song.. Loved the song from the moment I heard it.
One of the few really great songs from 2000-... (and probably the best..)

yeah i know! Total pile of shite, when I saw that was the one used on the best of dvd i was a bit annoyed to be honest as the DVD player I have is a little basic to put it one way and I still can't get it to fiddle about with easter egg stuff!

Any idea why they opted for a second video? Other than the fact that the song was released at seperate time all over the place? I really wish the football gets destroyed at some point

I don't care what you think about the song; it fails at grammar.

Worse then A Celebration? :eyebrow:

Accoustic Stuck ftw.

Without doubt, A Celebration video at least has some charm to it.
A Celebration is a much better song to. IMO.

im probably gonna get burned for saying this, but I dont like SIAMYCGOO

(except the acoustic version, I play that on my gibson acoustic  )

I fell in love with the song again after hearing it accoustic (U2 7, Conan etc.). The lyrics are great. Don't care what anyone says about the melodie being to poppy or corny, I think it's a U2 classic.

I used to think it was okay, now I think it's great  Fuck yeah to sonar pings in my gospel songs.
