I've been thinking about this a lot recently. With the new album coming out and upcoming tour, some songs are going to *have* to be dropped to make room for the new.

IMO, what could be dropped:
New Years Day (sorry)
Mysterious Ways
New York
WOWY (his voice can't take it)
Kite (not my choice, but I think it will be dropped)
Bullet the Blue Sky

What I hope is *never* dropped:
Bad
WTSHNN
Beautiful Day


What I personally want to hear them sing so I can die a happy woman:
All I Want is You
..... sung directly to me, of course ...

Hey all- here's my two cents on this...

Drop:

1. WOWY- too "tired" sounding, ever since '97 it's sounded as if they've only played it since it was expected of them- whatever happened to the extened Edge solo from the JT tour?

2. Pride- same reasons as above- needs to go unless they could do a version that sounded more like the album version- though with Bono's voice this will never happen

3. BTBS- outdated- give it a rest

4. Gone OR Kite- shouldn?t both be played in same show- ESPECIALLY back to back. I never understood why they did this during the last tour seeing as they?re very similar songs. Anyone agree?

5. One- same reasons as for WOWY- just not fresh anymore

6. Stuck in a Moment


Keep:

1. Streets- obvious reasons

2. The Fly, UTTEOTW- love the energy of these songs

ADD:

1. With A Shout- Love the energy, raw passion- plus lyrics are more relevant today than ever

2. A Day W/ Out Me- would be cool to see in ?03-04- especially considering this song best defines their Boy era sound IMO

3. GOD Part II- very underrated song- lots of energy, raw passion

* As mentioned, we have to make way for new songs! That?s why I dropped more than I added

no kidding. i would love to hear that. i was kinda disappointed with the live versions of the song. it sounds better with the full band and the full song for that matter. they cut out the ending which is the best part of the song.
