Exucse me??? I don't think anybody has the right to call a band s*** until at least their third album. My motto always is: Remember October. Which wasn'tlyrically crap (stolen briefcase or not!) but musically, except for the pennywhistle in 'Tomorrow" wasn't much diff than Boy. The critics savaged it.
I don't think any band has its chops in gear ntil they've been around 3 times. Then, they'llshow you if they can evolve. So don't go making hasty judgements...
And just b/c TWS recorded an album in 2 days doesn'tmean it;s crap. In the 50s and 60's that used to be the practice: rehearse until you had it downpat, then do it in ONE TAKE.
