So Will Bono Be At This Year's G-8 Summit, Or Not?

Does anyone actually know if Bono will be at the G-8 Summit next week being held in Kananaskis, Alberta (Canada)? I remember Bob Geldoff saying they would be there, but Bono seems quite tied up with various weddings, etc. He also made no mention of being at the Summit -- instead saying he wanted French President, Chirac, to be the "champion of 3rd world debt relief" at this year's G-8 Summit. Hmmm....curious, indeed. Anyone know?

I wish I knew. I imagine he will want to be, but whether or not he's too busy...

i don't think there's been any word yet.

i'm sure if he is confirmed the summit planners will publish his itinerary and schematics of his hotel room on their website

they are expecting violence here though because large amounts of protesters from toronto, montreal and lotsa other places can't get to kananaskis
