This was a point of contention when the song first hit the net. I remember hearing all kinds of explanations on why it was Bono or why the Edge.

Well, after attending the Brooklyn show, it is indeed the Edge.

Possibly the best way I've ever had an eternal question answered.

I missed the original discussion on this.

As soon as I heard it, I thought it was Edge, but a small part of me thought hmm it might be Bono, particularly towards the end of the piece.

They can sound very similar when singing sometimes so I do understand why some people might have been adamant it was Bono.

But I wasn't one of them - ner ner
