I almost cry when I hear "IIIIIIII..... would catch you/I'd catch you if I heard your call"
Incredible song. Why don't songs like these become popular here? ------------------ Change is the only constant |

Same here Dr Who
Don't think I've ever been as affected by a celebrity death as that one. It may sound a little wacky but I went to his memorial and laid a stone on top of it. I dont know why but I just felt I had to do something like that. I think something went wrong too. I dont think I'll ever forget teh moment I found out about his passing. I was driving home from work on a Saturday afternoon and it came over the radio that a prominent International musician had been found dead in a hotel in the city. I of course didn't think it was even an Australian. About 15 mins later they announced Micahel had commiteed suicide and I nearly drove off the road. I had to pull over. I cried for days about it and I could never understand why I was so affected by the death of someone I didnt know personally. Just proves how much an artist/musician can influence and grow into our lives. -------------- heaven sent thats what i call you |

I'm sorry but I was so excited I needed to post this.
I went to the supermarket today and, get this, they were playing Slide Away over the PA I was so excited I felt like jumping up and down but controlled myself and instead had goosebumps and trembled. Anyways I thought it worthy of mention considering I have never even heard it on the radio. ------------------ Tha Prickly Comedian |

Hello follower, I seem to strike the time of day when Elvis is doing his laundry. I wrote a heartfelt reply earlier but it's gone. Better that I suppose than appearing twice as I feared it may have.
I like "Slide Away"(and "She Flirts For England") and I am so glad Bono penned and released SIAMYCGOO. I still feel his death was an acciden. I can't believe he would purposefully leave his beautiful girls. |
