i am i the only one wondering why U2 isn't on the cover since they sweeped all the (seemingly) important categories?

Maybe they'll get the cover once Rolling Stones fills its yearly quota on the half-naked young women that often have NOTHING to do with music.

Wouldn't that be 99.9% of the covers?

Strange experience: u2 are bigger in Europe and in the german issue of the RS they just won two categories (Best tour and web site) while they pretty much swepted the RS awards in the US.

Yeah, how many times has Britney Spears been on the cover now? Three, at least?

They put Bob Dylan on their end-of-year cover, I noticed. Like that gives them back some credibility or something. Still if His Bobness is on the front it's probably RS's way of letting people know this edition might actually be about music.
