I only had seats at my very first show. It's been only GA since then. I couldn't stand going back to seats, though queuing up for hours is pretty crappy.

At the first Boston show, my friend and I were in the upper level right at the far end of the arena and at the end of the gig, we kept calling for another encore - including me calling for every track from The Unforgettable Fire. Eventually the cleaners had to ask us to leave. As we descended the stairs, at the bottom of each flight I'd yell for Heartland and my friend for Red Light.
We hadn't had a drop to drink either.

Unless it's U2, I can't be arsed doing GA at large shows, just because I don't like queuing for more than an hour or so, especially if nobody's coming with me. But for U2 and for small gigs, it just has to be GA. Mainly because Australians just DON'T stand if they have a seat, which shits me off.

On the way there I got pulled over because I'd forgotten ot put my lights on and I put on my best Boston accent when I told the cop I was "goin to the fleet centeh to see u2." The damn lights turn off automatically and I never get why my mother turns them off manually too - they should just alwasy be on!
