WTF is with the voting for Fire? It's a great song.

I don't dislike it as much as some of the other songs, but Fire has always kind of bugged me. I think it's the melody of the verses I don't like.

But ... the guitar sounds great and the vocals are strong and feels to me like a non-apocalyptic take on the Apocalypse.

This round, I'm going with I Fall Down. I've always thought it's a fairly bland song. The Boy Tour version, When I Fall Down, was better.

Scarlet, in an attempt to save Fire.

I wanted to vote Fire in order to save Scarlet.

But I voted for With A Shout.
Coz ( I think ) Fire and Scarlet are slightly better than With A Shout.

Cheers ,

Mauwer

We need 7 people to vote for With A Shout. Or ideally, 10 to vote for I Fall Down!

Voted for Scarlet, but I'm cool with Fire getting the boot also...and Ax you're way off on I Fall Down. It's not great, but it's better than Scarlet, though maybe I'm swayed by the live versions.

With a Shout. It's good, but nothing special. Worse than Scarlet, that's for sure.
I agree, but we're at the stage when strategy comes into play. I like Fire better than With a Shout, but I voted for it anyway in an effort to save Scarlet for one more round.

Rejoice is possibly the most forgettable U2 song on any of their albums. Not the worst by any means though.
