Is anybody finding these as intolerable 2 wear as me?

I love the look, but I personally have 2 keep tightening the damn thing all day long. Is anybody else having this issue?

Problem is I can't adjust it once it's on my wrist. It is a bit on the large size, and I did tighten it, but any tighter & I wouldn't be able to put it on

What are they made of? I haven't seen one so I have no clue. I bought several bracelets while in Tanzania and they were made of some kind of hide. I hated them at first, but after wearing them in the shower a few times, they loosened up. I ended up keeping them on permanently until they broke. If the Gap ones are similar, like leather or a hide, try getting them wet and working them in a bit and they won't be as stiff.
