RECORDING U2 FROM PS2 TO VHS - HELP!!

I have a Sony PS2 which I use to watch the U2 dvd from Boston.

I want to record it onto vhs tape.

The 2 vcr's I have won't let me record a clean copy.

On one the color fades in and out. The other one has lines all through the red colors.

I am inputting directly from PS2 to VCR via normal RCA cords.

Plus I have a homemade dvd of the Buffalo show (from Livids) which won't play in the PS2 at all). My goal is to copy both to one vhs tape for gifts to the friends I went to the show with. Not for profit.

Anyone have any suggestion?

it's called macrovision. it's a form of copy protection that fucks up the picture to spoil the copy. to get rid of it, you need to buy this: http://www.lik-sang.com/catalog/product_info.php?category=26&products_id=1365&

I'm having the same probs -- someone copied it for me straight from DVD to VHS. Nothing there--even the audio is bad. From what I can hear, "The Fly" is awesome...
