DO most guitarists and/or drummers develop serious 'hand probs' as they get a lot older - esp after years of playing????

(suppose same with piano etc.....)

By that I mean, arthritis, or even does the hand/fingers bend more? I have no idea and dont know anyone who plays to know, so Im just curious...............I mean, surely pain is a thing to come, yeah?????

????

hello?

please......dont jump on me for this!!!!

*maddie just curious*

Ha! I love that story. Maddie-- its a reference to the fact that Larry gets injections of bull's blood to ease pain in his back.

of course, that doesn't answer your first question but whatever.

You're right Mad1. I have been playing guitar for about 7 years now and my fingers can stretch like a MOFO! When I teach new people they always have trouble with "bar" chords because thats where you have to use a lot of stretching.
I also get cramps!...uh..in my fingers. I'll tell you though, if I develope arthitus, Iam gonna be wicked pissed!
Hope this helps.
